With a letter on verso to his father discussing the report and Professor Tucker's class in Political Economy. He disagrees with Tucker's arguements for free trade and believes Protection should be the "true policy of the country." Harrison also notes that the check from his father for $75 was "not quite as much as I wrote for but I suppose it will do...." and complains that no one from home has written to him.
